Established in 1963, we are a South Australian disability support organisation that exists to enable people living with disability and their families to be the best they can be. We do this by providing employment and related supports.
Our brand was formed from the merger of two successful disability enterprises, Hands On SA and Finding Workable Solutions. This merger secured the jobs of more than 70 staff and over 200 supported employees across 12 sites in the metropolitan and regional areas of South Australia.
The new name Mobo stands for freedom, embodied every day through the organisations' vision of a world where disability is no barrier to leading a fulfilling and satisfying life. The freedom we embrace ensures each and every person's input is valued.
To be the best we can be, Mobo believes it is essential to operate in a team environment where everyone respects and cares for each other; recognising it starts with respecting and caring for themselves. At Mobo, our people are supported by clear expectations to be accountable for their work. This style of teamwork and care amongst the team at Mobo empowers our employees to get on with their work and feel they are supported in all aspects of their work and life every day.
Mobo Group is caring, fun, and community-focused. We are trusted to deliver our commercial solutions and disability enterprises in Adelaide and South Australia. We are committed to our customers and each other. We always communicate in a professional, personable and respectful way that does not alienate anybody because we believe inclusivity and a supportive environment will help drive our success.
